Print programs
The small program on each PC that drives its printers — whether it is running, and what it found.

The server prepares every receipt; a print program on the PC the printer is plugged into sends it to the paper. Each till app runs its own, and the server has one for printers plugged into the server PC. Settings → Print programs:
Each row: the PC (a till, or Server (embedded)), whether it is Running, how many printers it drives and how many devices it found. Rescan looks for printers again — after plugging one in, say.
- A till's print program runs while its till app is open. Closed app, nothing prints there — the receipts wait and print when it opens.
- When the till app runs on the server PC itself, the server's own program appears under it, with Move the printers to …: move printers that were set up on the server program to the till, where receipts follow the till that sold.
