Electronics and mobile shops
A serial number per piece, its warranty from the day it arrived, and repairs (RMA) — all followed by serial.

Choose Electronics in the setup wizard. Phones, laptops and watches are inventory items tracked by Serial, with a Warranty (months) each.
Every day
- Receive each piece with its serial number (Purchase invoices) — it gets its warranty expiry the same day.
- Sell it by its serial (Selling serial and batch items); the receipt prints it.
- A customer brings it back: find the sale by the serial at the returns desk, and send it for inspection with Create RMA for repair inspection.
The electronics desk
Electronics on the Home screen, Warranty Tracking:
Every serial with its item, its status (available, sold, returned), its warranty expiry and the days left — filtered by Active, Expiring Soon, Expired or No Warranty.
RMA Management — repair requests, each RMA-yyyyMM-nnnn with its serial and the fault:
A request moves from Pending to Approved, In Repair, then Repaired (the piece can go back into a store) or Scrapped, and finally Closed. Create RMA opens one for any serial.
