Pharmacies
Lots and expiry dates, the first-to-expire sold first, recalls and the destruction log.

Choose Pharmacy in the setup wizard. Every medicine is an inventory item tracked by Batch, costed First Expired, First Out.
Every day
- Stock comes in on a purchase invoice, with each lot's number and expiry date.
- At the till, Major sells from the lot that expires first and prints the lot on the receipt — Selling serial and batch items. An expired or recalled lot is never sold.
- Batches and expiry dates and Batch & Expiry show what expires within 7, 30 or 90 days; return it to the supplier in time (Returns to suppliers).

Pharmacy on the Home screen:
Batch Recalls — when a maker or the ministry recalls a lot, press Initiate Recall, type the Lot Number and the Reason:
Major blocks the lot at every till at once (a return or a transfer of it still finds it), and lists the affected quantity. Resolve closes the recall once the stock is dealt with.
Destruction Log — every lot destroyed: the quantity, the method (incineration, chemical neutralization, landfill disposal, return to manufacturer), the reason and the witness. Record Destruction takes the units out of stock and keeps the record for inspection.
