Role cards

One page per job — cashier, waiter, kitchen, manager, owner — with that person's day and where to read more. Print each one and hand it over.

Who can do this
Everyone

Each card fits on one printed page: print this page and every role starts on a new sheet.

Cashier

Your screen: you land on the till after signing in; that is your whole job (Sign in).

Start of the day

  1. Open the shift and count the cash you start with.

Every sale

  1. Add the items — tap, scan, or type on the keypad (Adding items).
  2. Take payment: cash, card, wallet, or several at once. The receipt prints by itself.

When you need it

End of the day

  1. Close the shift: count the drawer and print the Z report.

Keys worth learning: F2 new ticket, F4 pay, F9 open tickets (all shortcuts).

Waiter

Your screen: the floor plan and the till (Tables).

Every table

  1. Pick the table on the floor plan; a new ticket opens on it.
  2. Add the items, with sizes and add-ons (Sizes and add-ons).
  3. Press Send to Kitchen (F3) — items stay held until you do (Send to the kitchen).
  4. Need to add more later? Open the table again, add, send again.

When you need it

Kitchen

Your screen: the kitchen display, on your station (Choose a station).

  1. A new order appears as a card.
  2. Press Start when you begin it, Ready when it is done (Order cards).
  3. Wiping the screen? Lock it for 15 seconds first (Lock and reconnect).
  4. "Reconnecting..." — the network dropped; nothing is lost.

Keys: ↑/↓ select a card, Enter next step, R one step back.

Manager

Your screen: the Home screen — every module you have permission for (Home and the header).

Every day

Every week

Every month

Products and prices: Products, Categories, Discounts and service.

Owner

Everything the manager does, plus:

Once, at the start

  1. Install the server, create the owner account, and run the setup wizard.
  2. Install each till and pair it; add the printers.
  3. Add the staff and give each a role (Staff, Roles).
  4. Work through the getting-started list until the shop is ready to sell.

Keep it running
